Just a stones throw from the lake Divje jezero stands the Kobila dam, where 400-year-old rakes begin. The dam was catching the water which then continued its path through the water channel towards Idrija.

The water’s surface level was balanced by the barriers still operating to this day.

It is said that Kobila marks the first half of the park that is connected to the town. The visitors can take a rest in the shade of the trees before heading back or continuing their trip to the centre of the park.
