Unpopulated territory, which is difficult to pass over, rich in waters and covered with forests provides animal life with a diverse and secure habitat. This makes a fairly small living space for a wide range of various animal species.

The research focuses mostly on game, especially hunting game, and less of the remaining animal world, except for the bird fauna.

The larger and more fascinating representative of animal life is the wolf, a casual visitor in this area; the brown bear is already a regular guest, but the most frequent visitors are roe deer, chamois is almost always close for us to view and at the upper parts of Hudo polje, Poslušanje we might also run into red deer. There is enough food even for the greatest European cat called the lynx. The clean waters offer good living conditions for fish, especially the trout. Lately we have also come across freshwater crayfish.
